The National Chamber of Commerce released a false based attack against the American judicial system that protects the injured person and provides accountability for the corporations of America. As described by the AAJ the National Chamber of Commerce is looking to protect only pockets of the wealthy corporations http://www.atla.org/pressroom/PressReleases/2007/apr25.aspx.
In the latest article from the AAJ (American Association of Justice) http://www.atla.org/pressroom/PressReleases/2007/apr25.aspx the National Chamber of Commerce continues its baseless attacks on the American Justice System that protects the injured person. The Chamber continues to focus its resources on helping companies who seek to take advantage of the consumer and place unsafe products on the market. The focus of the Chamber is merely to create more profit for those who already make millions of dollars. As pointed out by AAJ and JOn Haber:
“This latest propaganda is a made-up survey primarily of corporate lawyers earning millions of dollars defending their CEOs from being held accountable,” said Jon Haber, chief executive officer of the American Association for Justice. “The Chamber will stop at nothing to destroy the civil justice system in America, which protects the rights of consumers, employees, and shareholders against corporate wrongdoing and negligence.”
It is time that our legisatures and governmental officals begin standing up to out of control corporations and begin supporting the injured person.
